DAWN CAREY (POWELL)
DIRECTOR
Dawn hails from Manchester, England and still has the strong accent! She’s fun loving with a cheeky sense of humour! Dawn worked in the travel industry for many years living around Europe and travelling the world so has a broad understanding of styles and influences that can be translated into the Australian dream home. Dawn frequents trade shows and in 2019 visited the ultimate Capital of Design to attend the Salon De Mobil…Milan Design week and what a week it was!
Dawns passion for design and helping people, has seen her successfully delivering quality service in the field for over 8 years. With an eye for detail and the obsession to create incredible, unique and timeless spaces, Dawn is friendly and professional, with an honest approach to put you at ease. She believes in keeping things simple for an easy, enjoyable process.
Dawn and her Irish husband love to travel and spend many weekends in Noosa. The devoted mum of two understands the changing needs of a home for a family and is known for designing practical spaces, always searching for opportunities to create additional storage and choose selections to maximise the return on investment.

Likes: Champagne (loves), the beach, friends, dancing and a good laugh!

Dislikes: Slow drivers, talk back radio, beer, cold weather and flat shoes!!
MADISON GARDINER
LEAD INTERIOR DESIGNER
Following 6 years working in the industry, Madi lives and breathes all things design. She takes pride in her work, and ability to interpret her clients brief and personal style, adding a unique touch to each project she works on.
​
Madi discovered her love for Interior Design from a young age. After completing her studies in Graphic Design, she chose to switch fields, hoping to create and work with clients on a larger scale. She found a passion for hard finishes and has a natural skill for customer service. Madi has since worked in roles on all sides of the industry, picking up knowledge and expertise along the way, and allowing her to develop relationships with clients, builders, suppliers and trades.
​
Madi is committed to utilising her knowledge and talent in every project she undertakes, bringing clients' visions to life with a can-do attitude. Outside the DI Studio, Madi dedicates her time to making memories with her family and friends. On the weekend, you can usually find her at the dog park with her Corgi "fur baby", Basil.
​
Likes: Iced Lattes, sunsets, thriller movies, cooking/baking and artificial plants (because they don't die)

Dislikes: Coriander!
JENNIFER KNIGHT
REVIT TECHNICIAN
Thriving on learning and creativity, Jen explored many areas of study before discovering her passion for interior design. After graduating from a Bachelor of Design, Jen gained extensive experience working in architectural practices and her own business, enjoying a successful career spanning almost 15 years. With keen attention to detail and a fondness for technology, Jen decided to move into design communication, producing drawings and visual imagery. She loves the process of interpreting design sketches and ideas and translating them into 3D digital models. Jen has always been creative and loved making artwork, and channels that passion into creating beautiful renders of designs that clients can get excited about.
​
Always open minded and interested in trying new things, Jen takes a curious approach to life, hoping to continually improve and grow. In her spare time, Jen loves to work on her art practice, where she enjoys oil painting and is inspired by nature and botanicals as subject matter. One day Jen hopes to have a solo exhibition and is also interested in further study in building design.
​
Outside of work, Jen can usually be found at the rock-climbing gym, bouldering with her husband and friends, painting, or working on DIY renovation projects at home. Her little Italian Greyhound, Fuji, is always by her side or on her lap!
​
Likes: Art, travel, fine dining, red wine, movies, rock-climbing, hiking and dancing!

Dislikes: Ignorance and leaf-blowers
