Sunshine Coast Sanctuary with an EDGE

We loved designing this stunning contemporary home in Peregian Springs! Our NSW-based client, wanted a home that felt like a personal sanctuary, but she had a love for industrial materials such as concrete, metals and striking black features.

For the Kitchen, the client wanted a breakfast bar and standing bar, serving multiple purposes and making her home the perfect Entertainers retreat. A thick natural concrete benchtop was used on the island of the Kitchen and framed by a custom-made Dekton porcelain bar top and feature. Using Polytec's "Prime Oak" melamine cabinetry to warm up the space and balance out the hard finished, we completed the look with a third ultimately warmer stone-look, opting for Stone Ambassador's "Ceppo Di Gre" from their Vasari range on the back bench and splashback.

One of the many special features of this home includes the stunning Wine Spot, between the Dining Room and Kitchen. It boasts a large display of wine bottles, appearing to be "floating" thanks to the wall-mounted black racks disappearing upon the Dekton porcelain splashback chosen for the space. The cabinetry completing the look in Polytec "Black Venette", a speciality fingerproof product. However the LED strip lighting is what creates a moody feel for this space designed by our Director, Dawn Powell.

Combining contrasting elements and materials with a selection of soft terrazzos, warm timbers and pops of green, we made our client very happy! The stunning abode showcases some other features including a vast Butlers Pantry, a pool-side BBQ Kitchen and a luxe Master Retreat boasting panoramic views.
